Le Centre culturel yéménite belge participe à l'exposition sur les cultures arabes, mettant en valeur le riche patrimoine du Yémen au cœur de Bruxelles

The Yemeni Belgian Cultural Center participated in the Arab Cultures Exhibition, held on Monday, April 29, 2025, at Salle Sippelberg in the municipality of Molenbeek, Brussels, amid a distinguished cultural and diplomatic presence.

The event witnessed the participation of several representatives from the Arab diplomatic corps in Belgium, alongside prominent cultural, artistic, and media figures. This lent an international dimension to the event, reflecting the rich cultural diversity of the Arab-European scene.

The Center's pavilion stood out by displaying a curated collection of artifacts and models representing aspects of Yemeni heritage and identity, along with informational materials highlighting Yemen's ancient history and civilization, including:

  1. Traditional clothing from various regions of Yemen.
  2. Handcrafted traditional tools and items.
  3. Samples of Yemeni coffee and local products.

The Yemeni pavilion drew broad admiration from visitors, who spent time exploring the exhibits and expressing their awe at Yemen's rich cultural and historical legacy as one of the oldest civilizations in the region.

The President of the Yemeni Belgian Cultural Center emphasized that this participation aligns with the Center's vision to strengthen the Yemeni cultural presence in Europe and deliver a civilized message that reflects the authentic spirit of Yemen.

He also noted that a portion of the exhibition's proceeds was dedicated to supporting humanitarian causes, reaffirming the solidarity and cultural mission of this initiative.
