YBCC and EU Delegation to Yemen Discuss Joint Cooperation in Culture and Peacebuilding
  1. YBCC President Anaïs Larue highlighted the Center’s mission to represent Yemeni culture in Belgium and across Europe. She emphasized the Center's focus on women and children's issues, awareness against conflict risks, and supporting peace efforts through cultural engagement.

International Expertise & Civic Partnerships: International Advisor Lars shared insights from his extensive experience working on Yemen, stressing the critical importance of building strong partnerships between civil society organizations and international entities to foster dialogue and cross-cultural understanding.
  3. YBCC’s Journey and Achievements: Executive Director Salmen Ali Saleh presented an overview of YBCC’s trajectory since its establishment, outlining key initiatives, cultural events in Belgium, and ongoing efforts to support the Yemeni diaspora while building bridges with Belgian and European institutions.
  4. EU Commendation & Future Outlook: The EU official praised YBCC's active role and successful achievements in promoting Yemeni heritage and fostering cultural diversity across Europe.
  5. Both parties agreed to maintain close coordination to develop joint programs and initiatives focused on peace, cultural awareness, and community development, further strengthening cultural relations between Yemen, Belgium, and the wider European community.
